ARE YOU ASKING "WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?" - Part 1 Volume 1 Through inner vows we get integrated with something we associate with, that isn’t from God. As we go through life, we tend to make inner vows and “buddy-up” with a few spirits, thinking it will protect us from the pain we went through that created this association through our vows. Unknowingly we form alliances with demonic forces. For example: As a young man, I use to boast about my recklessness as a driver. I was proud of the way I scared everyone with my driving. I enjoyed that attention. Little did I realize I was making friends with a spirit of recklessness. And until the age of 50, this spirit stayed with me until God revealed this to me. This spirit can cost me my and other’s lives, but also if God says I have a spirit of self-control, why do I find myself still driving reckless and listening to other voices tempting me into it? I had to unfriend this spirit, and divorce from it. I had to renounce my acceptance of it and chase it away from me. We clothe ourselves with other spirits, while we should be clothed with Jesus Christ only. We should check what we boast about. We prayed for a man who was busy losing his marriage because he was having affairs. As much as this man wanted to save his marriage, he was also boasting about these affairs and I could clearly hear this man is actually enjoying what he is busy with. When you don’t hate what the demonic spirit is doing in your life, you are befriending it. You are giving it the right to do as it pleases in your life. You need to recognize the spirit and the problems it’s causing; you should hate it. Renounce it, and cast it away in Jesus Name. These demonic spirits deceive you with a “deal”. For example: “ If you stay in anger and unforgiveness, I will protect you from ever going into that situation again. I will protect you from those who are causing you this pain, and anyone else that wants to cause you pain.” – Spirit of unforgiveness; Anger; bitterness; Isolation; etc. We need to renounce and break the friendships we have with other spirits.
