The church isn’t working like it’s supposed to work.
Every person is supposed to be in ministry, everyone is supposed to serve. Ministry is service. If you don’t serve, then you don’t have a purpose.
If you don’t have a purpose within the church, then you don’t even know why you should go. You are saved to serve.
You have so that you can share, and your true calling is to love your brother and sister.
God knows what a person needs to be complete, He knows how He wired us. To serve, to give is something we are meant to do.
The number 1 need of a person, is love. You have love because you received it from God, but you also have to give it to another person. Sometimes that’s just friendliness, kindness, and patience with a person.
Members in the church always depend on the ministry team to meet their needs, but the truth is that no ministry team can handle the multitude of members personally. This is why every person is responsible for their growth. Grow to serve. Be actively participators in the church. Apply what you’re learning. Be involved. This is part of growing and serving one another. Mostly, we have to share in love, we have to be friends and walk with each other.
The five-fold ministry is there to help us all by serving us with the Word of God. But you don’t have to be in an office to be serving in your community.
