Grace
and Sonship v4
Do you still focus
on what you see down here? Or are you operating in the divine image in which He
created you to be? We are supernatural beings created to be like Him, and to
represent Him in this world as we are the light of this world just as He is
Light.
1 Corinthians 15:
53
53 For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature],
and this mortal [part of us, this nature that is capable of dying] must put on
immortality (freedom from death).
You have been created to live forever. We are made for
eternity. We are already seated with Christ in heavenly places.
We also have a supernatural language – we speak in
tongues. It’s a language that builds us up.
We live in the Kingdom of light; our currency is faith;
our kingdom is about choices.
Hebrews 3: 5 – 6
5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house
as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be
spoken afterward, 6 but Christ as a Son
over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence
and the rejoicing of the hope [a]firm to the end.
A servant is under the law, but a son is under the
grace. Although we serve each other and God, we are not servant under a law.
God is my Father and I am His Son. There are things that belong to me because I
am His son.
We have to
understand this in order to tap into what has been given to us already. We no longer have to work for it, but by
faith take hold of it and make it ours.
Those who are in
Christ are sons of God.
1 Peter 2: 9 – 10
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a
holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; 10 who
once were not a people but are now the people
of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
This is how God
sees you. A royal priesthood; holy nation; His own people.
You belong to God;
He purchased you; you are accepted by God and special for God.
You are worth dying
for.
Know that you are
planned by God; He knew you even before He made this world. He choose and
appointed you.
John 15: 16 – 17
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you
should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain,
that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These
things I command you, that you love one another.
