Practising the Word of God, is a way of acing and claiming
what He says about us. You will become it as you read the Word and are a doer
of the Word. If you start to do those things, then it will become you. Exercise
what God says by bearing good fruit.
Romans 12: 2
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test
and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
We have to guard our heart, because the things we get
in of this world is like seeds. And we have to be careful with how can grow in
us and become a part of our thinking and believing.
John 14: 26
26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my
name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I
have said to you.
The Holy Spirit will remind us of the truth we need to
know in each moment we need it. This happens through our conscience as well.
You’ll find agreement between you and the Holy Spirit about the matter, and you
will have peace about it if God is in it.
Hebrews 4: 12
12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it
active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged
sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the [g]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal]
spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature],
exposing and sifting and analysing and judging
the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
The Word of God is a divider and discerner. It helps
us to discern between life and death; evil and good. The Word of God is the
judge. The Sword of the Spirit will divide and sort it out for you. It exposes
and analyses and judge the very thought and purpose of the heart.
I ask God to come and check and analyse my heart.
1 Chronicles 28: 9
9 And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal
knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and
cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind. For the
Lord searches all hearts and minds and understands all the
wanderings of the thoughts. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him and
requiring Him as your first and vital necessity] you will find Him; but [a]if you forsake Him, He will cast you off
forever!
God searches the heart and understands all the
wanderings of the thoughts.
God understands the seasons which we are in, and the level
of maturity where we are at.
But also, if we forsake God, He will cast us off
forever. This is why we need the fear of God. Even David prayed that God should
please not take away His spirit from him (David). David knew he needed God and can’t
do anything without God. Our hearts must be like this as well.
Romans 9: 1
I am speaking the truth in Christ. I am not lying; my
conscience [enlightened and prompted] by the Holy Spirit bearing witness with
me
See that there is an agreement with the conscience and
the Holy Spirit.
Romans 2: 14 – 15
14 When Gentiles who have not the [divine] Law do instinctively what the
Law requires, they are a law to themselves, since they do not have the Law.
15 They show that the essential requirements of the Law are written in
their hearts and are operating there, with which their
consciences (sense of right and wrong) also bear witness; and their
[moral] [e]decisions (their arguments of reason, their
condemning or approving [f]thoughts) will accuse or perhaps
defend and excuse [them]
The law was written on the gentiles’ hearts and still
are. Our conscience bear witness with the Will of God.
